Hello friends!! Let me invite you into my world as I prepare for our meetings...
Because every client is different, I treat each and every Consultation as special as you are!
After we finalize the day/time to meet, I immediately print the paperwork that we will go over. Then I go out and purchase anything I feel is needed to make you more comfortable (drinks, snacks, new prints, etc).
The night before, I prep my Studio for you, according to your session/event!
I do whatever is necessary to make this first impression as positively memorable as possible, from Carpet cleaning to setting a fire in the fireplace, to even lighting special candles for that perfect scent ;) I set up our table with chair covers, and preferably a table setting that matches your wedding colors/theme. So I go to my storage unit about 5 miles away to grab those items.
The morning of, I shower! Yep, I make sure that I am clean and fresh lol ;)
No, but seriously, I make sure that I have everything needed for our meeting, I am mentally prepared and my studio is in perfect condition for your arrival!
There is approximately 5 hours, give or take, invested just for our consultation!
That being said, when you do not contact me to let me know that you are unable to make your consultation, I am VERY sad :( That was 5 hours that I could have spent with helping my sons with their homework, having a lunch date with my hubby, taking some "me" time, or even photographing a session.
So please, please, keep the lines of communication open! If you are unable to make it and need to reschedule, no worries! Just send me a text or email ;)
